Anonymous asked: I'm confused about weheartit. Some people say it's not okay to post from there and others say it's fine. Do you know what makes it "wrong"?

Anonymous asked: Is it okay to ask another blog to reblog one of your own posts? Or is that looked down upon?

Anonymous asked: I kind of just want a blog to express myself. I like tumblr because it is simple and easy to add pictures. I don't really want followers and I don't really want to be followed. Is this acceptable? I feel dumb for asking, but I was just curious if people could tell that I was a bump on the log and if it looked really bad? I am clueless.

Anonymous asked: Is it rude to remove/replace the click through links of the person you reblogged from even though they are not the owners of the original content and reblogged it from someone else?

Just a little courtesy tip:
If you are in general a safe for work blog, it’s considered polite to tag that rare nsfw post you make as such. Since you generally post SFW content, that NSFW content may come out of left field for your followers, some of whom may have the #nsfw tag tumblr saviored to prevent them from seeing it. It’s very much appreciated when you do! <3

Anonymous asked: I've been working my way through a really funny blog (there are 350 pages) and reblogging/liking anything and everything I find funny. Is this annoying/stalker-ish?

Anonymous asked: is it rude to reblog something from someone's tumblr or use a theme if you are not following them?
1 tag
Anonymous asked: First off, awesome blog! It's really appreciated. My question is, if someone reblogs one of my posts and adds a positive comment to it, should I respond to it with a "thanks"? Is it rude if I don't? Also, what's the best way to respond? Thanks!!

Anonymous asked: What do you think of image-heavy tumblrs which don't show the 500px versions of photos and instead loads them automatically in hi-res? (I don't mean only when someone clicks on them, I mean the hi-res versions load by themselves in the pages.) Is that unbelievably rude to users with slow Internet connections or do you think that's fine if you're, say, a professional photography...

Anonymous asked: Is there a way to hide the asks submitted by a particular person from showing up on your dashboard? Blocking them and tumblr savior don't seem to work.

Anonymous asked: when someone sends me an ask and I want to publish the answer, I'm not sure when this would be appropriate, especially if they're not anons. Obviously I wouldn't publish anything containing senstive material, or chat-like private conversations, but what is the protocol in these situations? I always make a rule of publishing anyone who thanks me for following them...

Anonymous asked: Is it rude to remove the original notes when you reblog someone's photo post?

Anonymous asked: Some people copy/paste tags from original posts and put them into body of the post when they reblog. I get the impression that when they do this, it is automatically UNDERSTOOD that the tags are from the previous post. Is this correct?

Anonymous asked: Is it awkward/annoying when someone you don't know comments on your post? Like, when I search tags i'll often find posts i'd like to reply to.. But i'm not always sure if I should considering i'm not following them or anything?

Anonymous asked: Would someone be able to tell whether you read their question or message already but you didn't respond?

Anonymous asked: Do you think it's rude to visit someone's blog often, and like or reblog their posts, but not follow them? In this instance, they tend to post very often. I think if I followed them, I wouldn't be able to keep up with my Dashboard, but I still sort of follow them by visiting the blog every day.

Anonymous asked: I read a tumblr and was reading some old posts from a few weeks ago. It would take forever to get those on my dashboard so I did it directly from their blog. I don't see a reblog button there so does that mean I can't reblog it? If I want it on my blog would i have to make it a whole new post and if so would that be against some kind of etiquette because it was a picture they posted and...

thefrogman asked: GIFs can sometimes get stuck on a frame. It's a browser error. You have to dump your cache and reload the image. The person should also make sure that they have set their GIF to loop forever.

zefk asked: So, I made a photo post of a gif that I made. It worked perfectly at first and got a few reblogs. Now it's not working at all and just looks like a picture of the first frame. Is there a way to fix this? I searched around a bit and it seems like putting into the html of the caption of the photo post or posting it as a text post would work. Would that mess up the reblogs it got? This happened...
